I don’t know about Whatcom County, but there were at least 400 Cacklers two days ago at Cheam Lake Wetlands, a few miles east of Chilliwack, BC. I would suggest checking out the Sumas to Lynden area for Cacklers. Wayne C. Weber
While I was scoping Wiser Lake on Sunday at noon a flock of about 100 cacklers landed on the lake at the same time as a bunch of Canadas. They were about half the size of the Canadas and not much bigger than the mallards. But They didn't seem to be as dark as minimas I have seen in the past.Phil Wegener
