Allow me to add to the otter thread with just a few of the hundreds of photos that I've taken while 'stalking' the otter family since early September, from Post Point to Whatcom Creek. They seem to have any interesting range and they also seem to be eating well.
The young ones are a bit timid but the adults are quite the opposite and I hope you get a chance to hear their 'call' someday. You might look for a bird and then find an otter!
