Lake Padden report + otters :) Andrew Reding 11/26/13

I checked out Lake Padden yesterday, and here’s what I found:

DOZENS of ring-necked ducks. 

Also American wigeons, buffleheads, lesser scaup, lesser Canada geese, coots, mallards, pied-billed grebes, red-crowned kinglets.

Then, at the Bellingham Cruise terminal, I hit the jackpot: a family of four otters, that allowed me to photograph them as they romped and played:
