ID question‏ Pat Buhl 11/23/13

This duck was keeping company with the 3 American Widgeons in Scudder Pond on Thurs. and Fri. I initially thought "Mallard", but looking at photos from Fri. (below), I'm wondering if she is a Gadwall???? or ????

Looks like a Gadwall to me. Especially the bottom photo (with the Wood Duck) shows a large white patch on the wing, definitely a Gadwall trait. I've seen Gadwalls on Scudder Pond before.
