Has anyone been to this exhibit yet?

The Owl & the Woodpecker in Washington: Photographs by Paul Bannick was organized by the Burke Museum at the University of Washington, and created with Paul Bannick and Braided River, a partner of The Mountaineers Books. Sponsorship of this local presentation is provided by Western Libraries

Copied below is the information from our library news feed about the exhibit. It is located in Special Collections, on the 6th floor of the Wilson side of the library. The hours for special collections are: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, M - F.

A traveling exhibit that explores the intertwined life histories of owls and woodpeckers and the unique roles that they play in defining and enriching their often-threatened habitats is now on display. This exhibit,  featuring photographs by award-winning photographer and conservationist Paul Bannick, is housed in Special Collections space on the sixth floor of Wilson Library, and is open for viewing during regular Special Collections hours (closed on weekends and major holidays) from now until the end of December.

This is an AMAZING set of photographs.  The drama and beauty represented here, not to mention outright cuteness, is mind-blowing.  The exhibit also features a number of Audubon prints in display cases, as well as bird calls.  There will also be a reception Wednesday, November 13 at 4 p.m. hosted by John Bower, Fairhaven College Professor, who will give an introduction to the exhibit.  Coffee and cookies will be served.  All are invited.
And as you might know, parking on campus is not the easiest thing in the world so please carpool or take the bus up from downtown or Fairhaven.

What are the dates? Beginning? End?
Thanks. Joan Casey

Good question.  The exhibit will remain up until January 4, 2014.  Our hours might be a bit restricted around Christmas but otherwise we are open 11-4.
