New Yard Bird‏ Joe Mackie 12/6/13

Hello Whatcom Birders,

I just now looked out to see a White-throated Sparrow foraging under the sunflower seed feeder.

Also saw FOY Varied Thrush in the yard as well.

Also the first time I’ve ever seen a crow trying to figure out how to access the suet cake cage.

Now I’ll brave refilling all, including the hummer feeder which I had to bring in (again) to thaw. When I take it back out the local Anna’s gets right in my face as if to say, “it’s about time!”

Cheers,
Joe Mackie

I had a white=throated sparrow, also, as well as all the other varieties including the fox sparrows that are so cute with their digging
I had to bring in the suet as the starlings discovered it. Nancy Downing
