Vancouver RBA for November 16, 2013‏

Friday, November 15
70 ANCIENT MURRELETS, 250 COMMON MURRES, 10 MARBLED MURRELETS, and 30 BONAPARTE'S GULLS were seen off  Lighthouse Marine Park in Point Roberts, Washington.

A PEREGRINE FALCON was hunting near Guildford Mall in Surrey.


Thursday, November 14
A BLUE JAY was photographed in North Burnaby, in a back yard on Gamma Avenue, along the east side of Confederation Park. It has been seen intermittently since November 3rd.

Two SNOW BUNTINGS were found on the Tsawwassen ferry jetty in Delta, along the gravel road on the south side of the jetty.


Wednesday, November 13

Two MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS were seen in the Glen Valley area of Abbotsford, on Marsh-McCormick Road about 100 m west of Lefeuvre Road.



Monday, November 11
The HARRIS'S SPARROW was still present at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. It has usually been seen along the trail on the west side of the pond, feeding with other sparrows.

A first cycle GLAUCOUS GULL was seen at the 72nd St turf farm south of Highway 10 in Delta.


Sunday, November 10
A WESTERN MEADOWLARK and a LAPLAND LONGSPUR were seen at Iona Island, Richmond.


Saturday, November 9

The BLUE JAY which has been present for more than a month was seen again in the Sea Island Conservation Area near McDonald Road in Richmond, as was a late COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.

A WHITE-THROATED SPARROW was seen near Brydon Lagoon in Langley.
